As J.K Rowling revealed, Albus Dumbledore had mastered Parseltongue too – although he could not speak it aloud. We're not sure why Albus learnt the language, but perhaps the Hogwarts headmaster wanted a better understanding of Voldemort.

What we, however, do know is that by the time book 4 came along, Dumbledore knew that Voldemort had Horcruxes and he also knew Harry would have had to die - expect this had changed.

Yes, yes. We know most wizards can fly whenever they want, providing they have a broomstick — or in more extreme cases, a Hippogriff. But it's also possible, in the rarest of cases, that wizards can fly unaided themselves, as first demonstrated by Lord Voldemort in Deathly Hallows, and later Severus Snape.
Brooms are magical tools just like wands, meaning extremely powerful wizards, like Voldemort, can fly without them. This also means every wizard and witch has the ability to fly without a broom, it's just that most need brooms to channel that power.
