Whether or not dogs are more attracted to one gender can't be objectively answered because all dogs and people are different. But, dogs generally tend to be more attracted to a specific set of behaviors that are exhibited mostly by adult women. It's not that dogs are exclusively attracted to female adults.
Other Solutions and Considerations. While it is normal for a dog to have sexual feelings and want to mate, it's not good for them to try and express it by using a human being as a sex toy.
Dogs Prefer Adults — Particularly Women
Dogs don't, as a rule, dislike men, but most dogs are cared for by women, and are thus more comfortable around them. A single woman is more likely to have a dog than a single man; in a couple, the woman is more likely to handle the dog's care.

“This typically has to do with how they were socialized, who takes care of them and their past experiences,” Dr. Bonk told The Dodo. “If a dog is taken care of by a female, they're more likely to prefer females, [whereas] if they're primarily taken care of by a male, they may prefer males.”

They follow you around closely. They mirror your behaviors. They follow your commands more readily than they do other people's. They check in with you frequently when in new environments or situations.
Is a Dog More Protective of Female Keepers? This isn't a general rule, but some pets are more likely to exhibit protective behavior with female keepers. This is because women generally have a softer voice and are gentler whenever they care for the dog.

More attention paid to male dogs: If a female dog in heat sees a male dog, she'll “flirt” with him by exposing and raising her rear in his direction while moving her tail out of the way. Excessive genital licking: A female dog in heat will excessively lick (or “clean”) her genital area.
Can a Dog Have Autism? While some of these behaviors are unique to humans, researchers have found that, in fact, ASD can occur in dogs, but it's called canine dysfunctional behavior (CDB). Researchers believe that canine dysfunctional behavior is an idiopathic condition, meaning that the cause is unknown.
Wild dogs exhibit similar behaviors, opting to sleep in small, confined areas with pack members they trust to protect against predators. When your dog sleeps right next to you, he is demonstrating trust in his “alpha” human.
If your dog does this, it means they trust you. And, if they keep their bum toward your face, it shows that you make them feel safe. They Are ''Splitting'' a Perceived Conflict
Some dogs may not feel comfortable watching their human being hugged and kissed and may feel the need to intervene by wedging their way in between the two parties in an attempt to de-escalate what they perceive as a conflict.
Perhaps the most common reason dogs hump is to demonstrate social dominance. Humping another dog or a person is an effective way of declaring that they are in charge. Puppies that are just learning to explore the world and discovering appropriate behavior may hump quite frequently.
The Root of the Behavior
While kissing and hugging come naturally to us as a form of expressing our love, it can cause your dog to have a panic attack. Kissing can give him serious stress. If your actions, as much as they are well intended, make him feel anxious in any way, then he will start to whine or cry.

But again, just because your dog recognizes that you're not a dog doesn't mean he doesn't identify with you or have a strong bond.
They have the same feeling as a child towards their parents and so they are not just an animal but a child to us and for them we are family. If ever you wonder whether your pooch is just like your child or not, think again. For them you are their parents.
That said, dogs often treat us as like we're part of one big happy pack. They can be incredibly loyal and loving to their family members. They rely on their human alphas to take care of them. If your dog doesn't see you as their alpha and ignores your commands, some professional training may be in order.
