Research strongly suggests that people are more creative when they enjoy privacy and freedom from interruption. And the most spectacularly creative people in many fields are often introverted, according to studies by the psychologists Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and Gregory Feist.
Creativity often seems to come from a deep connection with our inner world. Underneath the surface are sparks of imagination, waiting to ignite. Because we do our best work in solitude, creative introverts may be less reliant on established norms and more able to see and hear new things.
While introverts can create wonderful ideas and inventions, extraverts can inspire and motivate. Creative people are both introverted and extroverted but at different times and in their own versatile ways.
While it's true that introverts are often very creative, this doesn't mean that they are automatically more innovative than extroverts. Carving out alone time is something most introverts prioritize, which does lend itself to creative breakthroughs and new ideas, but that's not necessary for innovative thought.

There is a link between introversion and creativity. If you look at some of the world's preeminent inventors, writers, and entrepreneurs, most of them are introverts. That's because introverts enjoy expressing themselves creatively through their work.

People are attracted to loyal and devoted people. While introverts may not always realize it, this is a trait most people find attractive in them. Their loyalty isn't just attractive to the recipients of that devotion, but to anyone who observes them.
Because introverts tend to think before speaking or acting, they are less prone to impulsive behavior and the kinds of accidents that can result. A focus on internal rather than external cues may curtail overeating. 5 And being tuned in to the need to recharge, introverts tend to get more sleep than extroverts.
People who prefer time alone are often more creative
But, according to this University of Buffalo study, social withdrawal is positively correlated with creativity — as long as the reason for withdrawal isn't linked to fear (shyness or avoidance).
Quiet people have power because they are willing to spend more time and energy on self-reflection, which helps to know oneself, practice self, stimulate potential, and improve self-personality.
While introverts make up an estimated 25% to 40% of the population, there are still many misconceptions about this personality type. It is also important to note that being an introvert does not mean that you are socially anxious or shy.
Quiet people are natural learners, and they have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Their curiosity draws them to learning as much as they can. Just because they're quiet doesn't mean they're antisocial; they just prefer to expand their minds more than they like to open their mouths.

The gifted child may be either introverted or extroverted. That said, research suggests that introversion occurs at a significantly higher rate among gifted individuals. In my own practice, I see this to be true.
They prefer minimally-stimulating environments because their minds crave to grasp little details about everything. The reason why introverts prefer calmer environments and are naturally quiet people is because their ability to observe is limited to less-clamorous places due to its reduced rate of activity.
Some men may see shy women as aloof and disinterested, while others find them mysterious and innocent, triggering their protective instincts. Shy girls may seem mysterious or intriguing. Some men find shy women appealing and feminine. Shy women may appear to have innocent charm.
Shy guys don't all share the same preferences, and the fact that they are shy doesn't tell you anything about what they find attractive in others. Different shy guys I've known have been attracted to quiet (shy or not) girls, to sporty girls, and to hyper-feminine girls.
However, what they may lack verbally in a social setting, they make up for in their thinking and listening. Introverts are mysterious people, and that is because they do not spill their thoughts and opinions out straight away.
